I realise this has been asked countless times before, but I was just after some clarification as Im really not having any luck going LIVE.
I had a Gold account on XBL in the Uk which ran out whilst I was in the process of moving over to Dubai. My account reverted back to silver, and I have since tried to revert back to GOLD, but with no joy. I can connect as a sliver member, but i need gold for DC and so on
I tried a number of things,
1) I tried paying via Credit card (The same one I had paid with in the UK for years) .....No joy.
2)I tried buying a prepaid membership card in the UK and entering the UK when I got back here.... no joy.
both these times, I got the same message when trying to change my membership, "unable to connect.....an unexpected error occurred... blah blah blah" (I cant remember the message exactly, but there were a lot of random numbers) The confusing part is that the machine recognises the code as a XBL card.
3) I asked in Geekay electronics in MOE if they knew anything as per instructions I found on other forums, and the guy was totally useless and just said "select UAE" over and over again, but refused to give any context. ....
Does anyone have any other ideas?
Im desperate to download the Fallout3 Downloadable content episodes!!
(also, how do you get your gamertag in the avatar box?) |

| it happens sometimes but just choose your locale uk and type in the code then maybe it will work and there is no UAE locale set in the xbox 360 so choose uk and try or there could be another problem tht some unfair players used generators and got the same code this happens a lot whole youtube is filled with it |
